Me
American Red Cross volunteer and corporate defense firm stiff in the post-Katrina Deep South; I have truly walked in the other man’s shoes. After a brief sojourn reflecting on my adventures in the wilds of Idaho, I am now living the boring 9-5 life in Boston (All Hail the American Dream!), trying to figure out what to do from here. Still.
Header
The image in my header was taken in front of my house on Iberville Street in New Orleans in one of the small (yes small) rain storms that followed Hurricane Katrina. The city had yet to fix (and still hasn’t, I believe) the storm sewers in the city. With the small amount of rain that fell, this pirate’s ship (one of those plastic playthings kids climb on in the backyards across the country) floated peacefully by my house after breaking anchor a few destroyed houses up the street. Sad. Interesting. New Orleans.
